The website was founded by veteran business reporter Richard Lawson.
Lawson is an award-winning journalist with a proven track record of creating specialized content that attracts readers and advertisers. He is generally considered the most knowledgeable and respected business journalist in Nashville. Through his nearly 18-year career in journalism, he often has been sought out as an expert because of his ability to gain knowledge and understanding of issues through a well-developed network of contacts.
