Rusty Dunn, a real estate investor and former auto dealer owner, and developer Bill Hostettler are hosting the fundraiser at Jimmy Kelly’s for the Republican Knoxville mayor who is hoping to become the next governor. The breakfast starts at 8 a.m. and costs $1,000 a person. Perhaps that means steak AND eggs.

Conference on healthcare reform at Lipscomb University

The conference comes in the wake of a healthcare reform plan presented by former Republican Sen. Bob Dole and current Democrat Sen. Tom Daschle, hailed as a bipartisan compromise.
