At least the mag is raising some hell. Being a truck driver is on my bucket-list. I wanna drive an old White Freightliner pulling hogs from here up to Alaska, then put it on a ferry and then drive across Russia. When I get St. Petersburg or whatever it’s called now, I’ll sell me some skinny Tennesssee hogs.

Fair Board member Ned Horton was appointed via Dean Advisoir Jim Hester. Mr. Horton’s historic home is adjacent to a section of located I-65 within one mile of the fairgrounds. Horton also has/had financial interests in residential propertie(s) located within 2/3 of a mile of the fairgrounds. Horton’s marketing and web site company designed and managed the web site for Dean’s election campaign. Hester at one time was employed by Horton. Horton was appointed because he agreed with Dean’s plan for the fairgrounds. Though Horton is a respected and successful businessman(he founded FM 100), he has no interest in applying his accumen to making sure the fairgrounds is managed in a way that it was intendend to be run. His interests are with the mayor.

The PSC Metals site flooded like crazy last May, I don’t think that place is good unless the city finally made good on that Marina promise! It’s between the old thermal plant site and Sulphur Dell in my book with each site having its own pros and cons.
