Sony Xperia X Performance is one of the three Xperia X devices that made their debut at last year’s MWC event, however, one obstacle that has stood in the path of the phone’s success is its price tag.
While the phone comes with a bunch of high-end specs that include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 3GB RAM, an impressive 64GB storage, IP68 dust and water resistance certification and a massive 23MP camera on the back, the huge price tag that it came with meant that not so many people fancied it, unless they were real diehard Sony Xperia fans.
Now, for those who are still fans of Sony’s, this might just be the right time to get into the books of the Japanese tech giant. Apparently, the Xperia X Performance, which was actually the company’s flagship handset before the Xperia XZ was released later in 2016, is now selling at a discount of $130 on Amazon.
Before this update, the giant American retailer had been selling the Sony Xperia X Performance at $497.98. However, a discount of $130.89 has meant that the current price of the phone drops to an impressive $367.09, including free shipping. The retailer has listed the phone in Lime Gold color variant and it’s the base model, which carries 32GB of expandable storage.
Do keep in mind that this deal on Sony Xperia X Performance is not here to last. In fact, at the time of this writing, only a handful of handsets are still in stock, which means you really need to take your chances right away in order to buy one for yourself or loved one.
Other than a Snapdragon 820 chip, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and 23MP camera, the Xperia X Performance also comes with a 5-inch 1080p display, a 13MP selfie shooter, a 2700mAh battery unit with support for fast charging as well as Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, there’s an update to Nougat waiting for you once you unbox the phone. As usual with Sony phones sold in the U.S., you don’t get to use a fingerprint scanner.
