The year and its year-ending holiday shopping season might have just ended, but this hasn’t put an end to smartphone deals. If you care less about the brand name and more about the hardware specs of a device, there is a great deal waiting for you on Geekbuying.
As at the time of this writing, the flagship LeEco Le Max 2 is selling a discounted price that many will kill to have, but be warned that this deal is limited to time. From what we’ve just learned, the Le Max 2 is now selling for just $199.99 on Geekbuying. This might not surprise many, especially since they might not be familiar with this Chinese company. But looking at the specs on offer via this monstrous Le Max 2 flagship, you will for sure never want to miss on this deal.
In terms of design, the LeEco Le Max 2 has a metallic unibody that houses an ultrasonic metal fingerprint scanner on the back alongside the main camera, meaning that you don’t have to worry about stains or dirt when you want to use the scanner. The display screen will lure most people into this deal thanks to the 5.7-inch LCD panel that features a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. This is the same size and resolution found on the LG V20 or the dead Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
It gets even much better when it comes to specs under the hood. Unlike its $199.99 price tag implies, the LeEco Le Max 2 has the best hardware specs you can find in a current flagship phone. Just like the Galaxy S7, HTC 10, LG G5 and the earlier-mentioned LG V20, the Le Max 2 ships with a Snapdragon 820 SoC that is clocked at a speed of 2.15GHz and is paired with two RAM options of either 4GB or 6GB. The model in question here is the one with 4GB RAM, which also carries 32GB of internal storage.
The Le Max 2 also comes with a decent 3100mAh battery that supports fast charging technology. As far as the camera is concerned, LeEco went for a huge 21MP snapper on the back with an aperture of f/2.0. There is PDAF, OIS and dual-tone LED flash alongside 4k video recording capability. On the front panel, you get an 8MP snapper with f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording.
LeEco was one of the first companies to introduce phones that have no 3.5mm headphone jack. Well, the Le Max 2 is one of the first to showcase this feature where audio listening is done via the USB-C port – even ahead of Apple and Motorola with their iPhone 7 and Moto Z flagships, respectively.
LeEco Le Max 2 comes preinstalled with Android Marshmallow out of the box, but given its flagship status, an update to Android Nougat should be on the cards.
If this Le Max 2 phone excites you, it is now available for a limited time on Geekbuying for a mere $199.99.
