Putting an end to all the rumors, the HTC One X10 has found its way to Russia with official specifications and a price tag.
The model has been launched in the country and is expected to be out in other regions in due time. The mid- range handset has generated enough hype because if its affordable pricing and possibly the model that could put HTC back in the race. There is still no word on its launch in the United States and the company may take their time to make an announcement.
According to the posting made on the Russian website, the HTC One X10 features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The phone is made of an all-metal body that renders it the most wanted premium look that buyers always love. The model boasts of a 4,000 mAh battery, the best in-class. After all, all the phones have become mini computers that have so little power to get them through the day. The company claims that it can last two whole days which doesn’t sound exorbitant because the battery size should be able to achieve the feat.
While flagship phones from Samsung, Apple and everyone else is focusing on better cameras, slimmer displays, it is great to see HTC give importance to the battery. The design of the phone seems to be inspired by the One Plus 3 phone. However, the designers have made sure it looked like a HTC phone in most perspectives.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM to keep the apps snappy and perform without slowing down. The phone supports dual SIM card slots and works with 4G LTE connectivity. The rear end features a 16 megapixel camera with a 2.0 aperture while the front has an 8 megapixel camera with a 2.2 aperture.
In their statement, HTC claimed that the phone comes pre-installed with the Boost+ system and has an optimization mode. The mode is designed to optimize the resolution and consolidate the resources of the smartphone so that it offers the best performance for specific tasks that one might need to use at the moment.
The HTC One X10 is being made available in Russia before the end of April. The company confirmed that they will release them in the country in two different color variants, black and silver with a price tag of 19,990 rubles which is approximately $355.
