Leaked Huawei P10 Images reveal Gold, Purple and Green Color Variants

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus

Huawei P10 is the next flagship from the Chinese OEM and just yesterday, photos of the phone alongside its Huawei P10 Plus counterpart emerged.

These photos matched a lot of what has been going on in the rumor mills. Apparently, Huawei P10 will be a flat screen variant while the P10 Plus will ship with a curved dual-edge screen. The images also confirmed that the latter will be larger in size as compared to the former, with rumors pointing at a 5.2-inch LCD screen for the P10 and 5.5-inch OLED screen for the P10 Plus. The fingerprint scanner of the Plus model will be placed on the back while the smaller version will come with this feature baked into the physical home button. Like their predecessors, the P10 series will come Leica-branded dual-lens cameras on the back. The logo of the company will also appear in different locations for the two phones. Where you’ll find it towards the bottom for the P10 Plus, the P10 has it in the top half.

The leaked images confirmed that Huawei will be releasing a Gold color variant for the two phones, adding proof to previous rumors that had claimed the phone will have up to four color variants that include Black, Blue, Silver, and Gold. Now, in a new set of leaked images, we have a fresh pair of color variants for the standard Huawei P10. Apparently, the company has plans to launch the phone in Purple and Green as well. These are interesting choices, with one of them – Purple – usually associated with ladies – and it is great to see that Huawei is also thinking along these lines.

In terms of specs, the Huawei P10 is said to be shipping with a Kirin 960/965 processor paired with a RAM of 4GB and 64GB of expandable storage. The larger P10 Plus will have an even larger 6GB RAM and more storage of 128GB, still with room to expand it. According to reports, the dual cameras on the back will have the same power as the Huawei Mate 9 lenses.

Huawei is expected to launch these two phones in the coming weeks, probably at the MWC 2017 show.
