A die-hard fan of the powertrain and the car would definitely enjoy the new teaser video launched on Youtube. The advertisement clip highlights all the most anticipated features of the car including the 5.0-liter V8 engine. It sounds impressive as expected even though it is nothing compared to how it might be when we look at it in person.
The engineers have introduced a significant upgrade to the dashboard of the model. In the video, we can see that the instrument panel is fully digital and lights up with a welcome screen as soon as the passenger gets in. It displays the gauges and other information before initiating the engine. As soon as the keys are plugged in, the V8 engine roars with a throaty, menacing sound. It’s definitely made to send adrenaline pumping through the body of ardent car lovers.
A range of special features found in the Lexus LC 500 is revealed in the advertisement. It graphically shows how the gear system, pistons and other hidden aspects of the car work. While we may not witness them all in real life, it will be delivered in the form of sheer performance to the LC 500’s owner. According to the information available, the Lexus LC 500 uses a tweaked version of the V8 engine which is capable of delivering at least 468 horsepower coupled with 391 lb feet of torque. The car is set to be sold for an approximate price tag of $90,000.
Lexus is keen on pushing their new LC 500 into the mainstream market so as to acquire more buyers. They started promoting the car ever since its concept phase and now one more time before production begins. With such aggressive marketing, it wouldn’t be surprising if the model sells really well on launch. There is no specific launch date for the car yet but it is expected to be out by summer, 2017.
