Oppo is one of the many Chinese smartphone OEMs that have been stealing the show in the recent past, alongside the likes of Vivo, OnePlus, Xiaomi and Huawei.

Just recently, the company unveiled a new Oppo F1 Plus smartphone that comes with monster specs that are capable of killing the current lines of Samsung, LG and HTC flagships. Apparently, the company has followed up this new smartphone with a special edition targeting lovers of soccer.

If you are a fan of Spanish soccer giants FC Barcelona, Oppo has a good one for you. The new Oppo F1 Plus has an FC Barcelona-themed variant that comes in the famous blue and red color and features an 18K gold-plated emblem of the team on the rear.

Dubbed Oppo F1 Plus FC Barcelona Edition, the new phone takes after the selfie-focused Oppo F1 Plus, but with a different casing to show some love for Indonesian, Chinese and Singaporean fans of FC Barcelona. This is a huge moment for those who have been following the reigning Spanish La Liga champions, however, the pricing details may have to wait until when the phone is released somewhere in mid-June.

As pointed out earlier, the new Oppo F1 Plus FC Barcelona Edition only looks different from the outside but everything else remains the same when compared to the standard F1 Plus. The phone features 5.5-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD resolution of 1080p. Under the hood you get an 8-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC that is supported by a Mali-T860 GPU and a RAM of 4GB while onboard storage is 64GB, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to a tune of 128GB.
