It has been only a few days since the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active made its debut, but it is already available on the AT&T networks with or without contract.
Billed as the perfect device for adventurous people, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has all the attributes of the Galaxy S7 but in a rugged form that is fit for any scenario. Samsung has made some key improvements to the device so as to justify the higher price, but this device will be extremely exclusive. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active will be available only on AT&T networks and only in the United States.
This may be a disadvantage to many since finding the unlocked version of the device is also impossible. Buyers of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active may be limited to the AT&T network, but it may be a good thing just to own the device. It is a normal Samsung Galaxy S7 in aspects like the 5.5 inch display and snapdragon 820 processor. However, it looks completely different and many would assume that the Galaxy S7 has been protected with a rugged exterior third party cover. This, however, is not the case since Samsung has provided its own tough case for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active.
The device is protected from all elements to a major extent, while it can keep going for considerably longer than the Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 Edge since it has a massive 4000 mAh battery. The Galaxy S7 Edge already has an impressive battery life even with its smaller 3600 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is capable of going even longer to even the second day mark if one is careful about usage. The phone also has a dedicated button on the left side and it can be programmed to open any application as the user wishes. One can set up to three different tasks using this dedicated button.
AT&T is offering the option of buying the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active outright by paying the full amount of $795. Users can also opt for the AT&T Next plan for the Galaxy S7 Active, which will set you back by $26.5 per month for 30 months. The figure increases to $33.1 should the buyer wish to complete the contract within 24 months. AT&T has started selling the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active and the phone will be available either through stores or through online delivery.
