Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is going to be the star of the show at Mobile World Congress 2017.
Previously, it was speculated that the manufacturer may make the Galaxy S8 flagship phone official but this sounds like a good option at the moment.
The era of tablets is waning off as almost all top manufacturers have stopped releasing new tablets. Apple has had a solid break but it’s good to know that the Samsung tablet is coming back with improved hardware and design. The company has released an invitation for all tech websites and media to come join them at the Mobile World Congress this year. The tablet is teased with a stylish silhouette that showcases its rear end.
While Samsung didn’t explicitly state that they are about to launch the Galaxy Tab S3, it is one of the long overdue models that should have got launched in 2016. The company was ready to bring it out when the Galaxy Note 7 started exploding and brought every other plan to a tight halt. The entire year was spent working on recalling those defective Note 7 devices that pushed the tablet’s launch to this year.
Being one of the high end tablets, it could bring a fresh lease of life in the market. The Galaxy S8 flagship phone will be launched at a later time but this one seems like a credible device to start the year with. After all, people who are looking to buy a tablet hardly has any choices especially with Google’s Nexus lineup now retreated. The Apple iPad and iPad Mini runs on iOS while the new Galaxy Tab S3 could be the viable Android alternative.
Reports claim that Samsung will launch two different variants of the tab, one with a Wifi connectivity and another with 4G LTE support. The tablet will sport 9.7-inch display just like the iPad with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. It will have a fingerprint sensor in the front along with a home button. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be powered by last year’s flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM and has 32GB of internal storage space. It will also support micro SD card so that you can expand the storage further to store all the movies and music that you like in the tablet. The specs are speculated and can be confirmed only after the official launch.
