Pricing for the 2017 Genesis G90 has been one of the much anticipated aspects in the last few months.
This top end sedan for the luxury car maker is touted to set new benchmarks when it becomes available towards the end of this month. The prices for the vehicle starts at $69,050 and this includes the destination charge of $950. For this price, buyers will be getting their hands on 2017 Genesis G90 3.3T Premium. This rear-wheel drive vehicle comes equipped with a 3.3-liter V-8 motor with twin turbos and power is sent to the wheels through an eight speed automatic transmission.
The all-wheel drive variant is priced at $71,550, which represents a $2500 premium over the rearwheel drive model. Powered by the same motor and with the same transmission, the vehicle is good for 365 bhp and 376 lb-ft of torque. Economic figures are not too brilliant given the engine of this size, but even then, it manages a healthy 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg in the highway. Thus, the 2017 Genesis G90 3.3T Premium manages to come out with 20 mpg in the combined figures.
The standard features on this luxury sedan include aspects like leather interiors, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, 19-inch alloy wheels, HID headlights, a 17 speaker Lexicon 7.1 surround-sound audio system, and navigation system with 12.3-inch screen. The front driver and passenger seats are both power assisted with numerous ways of configuring them.
Safety features are in plenty on all variants of the G90 sedan. They include the likes of automatic emergency braking, Lane keep assist, Lane departure warning, smart cruise control, high Beam assist, and driver attention alert. If the V6 motor in the standard variant is not enough, buyers can go for the 2017 Genesis G90 5.0 Ultimate which has a 5.0-liter V-8 motor developing 420 bhp and 383 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle is priced at $70,650 while the all-wheel drive variant is once again $2500 more expensive than the rearwheel drive variant.
In addition to the features found on the G90 3.3T Premium, the ultimate version comes with options like full LED headlights, powered rear seats, powered rear headrests, illuminated vanity mirrors for rear seat passengers, memory seats at the rear, and addition of chrome. The two variants of the Genesis G90 sedan will be available in showrooms towards the latter end of this month.
