2017 Nissan Pathfinder Prices Start at $30,890

Nissan have been excited about the availability of the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder, which will be available in showrooms from this week.

Pricing of the model has been just announced by the automaker. The newly improved three-row crossover will start at $30,890 for the base variant. This place is inclusive of the destination charges, which come in at $900. One of the reasons for the slight increase in the prices of the base model is that the destination charges have increased by $160 compared to 2016. Even though the base model gets a price rise, Nissan have managed to lower the prices of the SV and SL variants compared to 2016.

The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder gets a few tweaks in terms of styling to keep the design fresh and new. Some safety features have been brought on to the device while the model also gets significant upgrade in terms of technology. The vehicle continues to have the same 3.5-liter V-6 with a direct injection. It produces 286 bhp and 259 lb-ft of torque. These represent a healthy 24 bhp and 19 lb-ft increase compared to the 2016 variants. As a result, one can expect the vehicle to be slightly easier on the motorway while also offering better acceleration figures. Front wheel drive is standard on all variants but buyers can opt for the four-wheel-drive models by paying an additional $1690.

The vehicle uses continuous variable transmission for better efficiency. Some of the features available as standard even on the base variant include aspects like pushbutton start, infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity, and 18 inch wheels. The SV variant adds features like driver’s seat which is now power adjusted, automatic headlights, rear parking sensor, and steering wheel with leather wrapping. All these features are not available at $470 less compared to the 2016 edition.

The SL variant comes with an options list that includes leather seats, heated steering wheel, blindspot monitoring, heated front seats, powered tailgate, and powered front passenger seat. These options will set by has backed by $36,600. Incredibly, this model is priced $710 lower than the 2016 version.

The top of the range 2017 Nissan Pathfinder is available in the Platinum trim, which costs $42,770. This model is $260 more expensive than the 2016 edition, but standard features include the likes of BOSE surround sound system, cooled front seats, and 20 inch wheels amongst others.
