Three new Nokia models have appeared on Bluetooth SIG certification and these could belong to Nokia XR20.
This year, Nokia seems to be only targeting the budget to mid-range smartphone segment. We have already seen a couple of phones in the Nokia C-series phones. Now it seems the company is looking to bring more phones soon as new phones have been certified at Bluetooth SIG certification. The model numbers of these new Nokia phones are Nokia TA-1362, TA-1368, and TA-1371.
The marketing name of these new Nokia phone models is currently unknown. Recently, the model number TA-1362 was spotted on a Russian retailer website which revealed that it may belong to the upcoming Nokia XR20. Since, the TA-1362, TA-1368, and TA-1371 appear together in a single Bluetooth SIG listing, it is possible that all these are XR20 models. The listing reveals that the phone supports Bluetooth v5.1 for connectivity.
Last month, the Nokia XR20 popped up on benchmarking site Geekbench with key specs. It revealed that the phone is powered by Snapdragon 480 5G chipset paired with 4GB RAM. It runs Android 11 out of the box. The Nokia TA-1362, TA-1368, and TA-1371 have recently bagged certification from SGS Fimko. Getting multiple certifications hints the phone is getting closer to the launch announcements. Nokia is yet to have a word about the existence of the XR20.
The retailer listing for Nokia XR20 reveals that it has a 6.67-inch FullHD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. In addition to the 4GB RAM seen on Geekbench, the XR20 may come in a 6GB RAM option with 64GB / 128GB internal storage. The phone may support storage expansion up to 512GB. Further, the retailer listing reveals that the Nokia XR20 might offer 48MP + 13MP dual rear camera and a single 8MP front-facing camera.
Upcoming Phones – Nokia C30 & Nokia 6310
In addition to XR20, the company has a couple of more phones in the works – it includes Nokia C30 and Nokia 6310. Recently, HMD Product Manager in China also revealed that the company is looking to launch a flagship phone in November 2021. He didn’t reveal any specs of the flagship product.
