Huawei Honor 8 Lite (Huawei P8 Lite 2017) stops by TENAA, Launch Date Soon

Huawei Honor 8 Lite

Huawei Honor has been busy lately as far as software updates are concerned. The likes of Huawei Honor 8 and Honor 5C or rather Honor 7 Lite are already receiving the new Android Nougat OS, but this hasn’t stopped the company from working on other devices.

The Honor branch is growing and joining the party is the Honor 8 Lite, which is also known in other markets as the Huawei P8 Lite 2017. As you can see from the name and how Huawei handles things, the Honor 8 Lite is the slimmed-down version of the high-end Honor 8, which was launched in October last year. Apparently, this new Huawei P8 Lite has been listed on TENAA, an indicator that the release date is very soon.

According to the listing, the Huawei Honor 8 Lite will come powered by Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, something that many potential buyers will relish. The listed phone has model number PRA-TL10B and as noted, it will be known as Huawei P8 Lite 2017 in other markets, replacing the original and very popular P8 Lite that was launched in 2015.

From rumors, the Huawei Honor 8 Lite will come with the same screen description as its high-end counterpart – a 5.2-inch panel with a Full HD resolution. Under the hood, the phone should ship with an octa-core Kirin processor clocked at a speed of 2.1GHz and is paired with the same 4GB RAM as the Honor 8. As for the internal storage, you get 32GB, but there should be room to expand it via a microSD card of up to 128GB.

Apparently, the back of the alleged Huawei P8 Lite 2017 will come with a 16MP camera lens and to keep it alive, Honor will go for a 2900mAh battery unit, slightly smaller than the 3000mAh unit found in the Honor 8. You’ll also love the fact that the Huawei Honor 8 Lite will be as slim as 7.6mm.
