The Koenigsegg Agera RSR is a special edition variant is getting launched in Japan and the exclusive variant is going to be extremely limited in numbers on launch.

Elite hypercar builders always like to create models that stand out from the rest. They are usually expensive and made for buyers in a specific region. Koenigsegg specializes in this sector and they are going to launch 25 cars each with their own badge and special treatment. They will be spread throughout the globe and only three of them will find their way to the Japanese market. The RSR logo will be carved on the cars to show that these beasts are a class apart from the rest.

The Agera RS was the first car in the series and those who have purchased the Koenigsegg Agera RSR are existing customers of the RS variant. They have customized their own components for the car along with custom made aerodynamic packages. The conventional post mounted rear wing has been removed in the RSR edition. Instead, a roof fixed spoiler is used with One:1 car. On the inside, buyers will spot a wide range of changes including new color tones, trims and materials.

While the choices are many, most people seem to have opted for the chocolate brown leather interiors combined with a lightweight carbon fiber cabin. It is not just looks but the Koenigsegg Agera RSR is an exceptionally powerful car and can easily break the records if tested on any one of the race tracks.

A 5.0-liter twin turbocharged V8 engine which is already being used in the Agera RS powers the RSR variant. The engine is capable of delivering up to 1,160 horsepower. If you find the numbers to be faint worthy, they truly are because an average car or even the top of the lines models from brands like Lamborghini or Ferrari may not be able to achieve such numbers. The only big competitor is the Bugatti Chiron which happens to be the direct competitor for the Agera RS.

The RSR has a seven speed dual clutch transmission system. The new Koenigsegg Agera RSR has made its debut at the same time as the Agera XS. The entire car has many elements designed to make it go as fast as possible including the rear spoiler, roof scoop and wheels made using carbon fiber materials. The model was showcased at an expo recently to give buyers a glimpse of what it could offer them.
