A mysterious Motorola smartphone with model number XT2163-4 has received approval from the Wi-Fi Alliance certification.
The Lenovo-owned firm is expected to announce the Motorola Edge 20 series by the end of this month. The Wi-Fi listing of the Motorola XT2163-4 only shows that the phone runs on Android 11 OS and it carries support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Unfortunately, the other specifications and exact moniker of the device are yet to be revealed.

Recently, tipster Evan Blass revealed that Motorola is expected to announce the Edge 20 series by the end of this month. Hence, there is a possibility that the XT2163-4 could be an upcoming Edge 20 series phone. The lineup is said to include three models such as Edge 20, Edge 20 Lite, and Edge 20 Pro.
Motorola Edge 20 (codenamed Berlin) is likely to feature the Snapdragon 778G upper mid-range chipset. One variant is expected to release in the North American markets, where a slightly downgraded version is expected to arrive in global markets. It may come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, 108MP triple cameras, 32MP front camera, and a 4,000mAh battery. Motorola Edge 20 Lite (codenamed Kyoto) is expected to feature the Dimensity 720. One variant of the phone will be heading to India, while its other variant will be aimed towards the global markets. It will come with a 90Hz display, 32MP front camera, 108MP triple cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Motorola Edge 20 Pro (codenamed Pstar/Sierra) will be a flagship model powered by the Snapdragon 870. The company is expected to release one variant of this flagship phone in the global markets, and the other one for China. The Chinese model is expected to arrive with a weaker front camera. It may offer specs like a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, 108MP triple cameras, 32MP/16MP front camera, and a 4,500mAh battery.
