Motorola XT2167-2 and XT2173-3 Appear in the Eurasian Regulatory Database

Two new Motorola phones with model numbers XT2167-2 and XT2173-3 get certified by Russia’s EEC.

Motorola is no longer a major smartphone brand in the market in terms of market share. However, the company continues to launch phones in a variety of categories. This year, the company has launched a bunch of Moto G series smartphones and there could be more. Today, we have spotted two new Motorola phones on Russia’s EEC certification that bear model numbers XT2167-2 and XT2173-3.

The EEC listing does not reveal the moniker or any of the specifications. So, it’s hard to guess whether the phone belongs to mid-range or some other category. We’ll get to know more about these phones once they bag more certifications or a through a leak. 

XT2167-2

Motorola Kyoto, Berlin, Sierra

Apart from Motorola XT2167-2 and XT2173-3, the company is reportedly gearing up to launch several Motorola Edge devices which are codenamed “Kyoto”, “Sierra”, “Berlin”, and “Berlin NA”. The original Motorola Edge was launched last year. A report from TechnikNews reveals that Edge phones codenamed “Kyoto”, “Berlin”, “Sierra” could launch as a successor to the original Motorola Edge.

The report mentions that “Kyoto” codenamed phone will feature a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel secondary camera to function as ultrawide & macro, and lastly a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone is reported to have either a 16-megapixel or 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

Another report from the same source reveals the camera details of “Berlin”, and “Berlin NA” codenamed Motorola Edge phones. The Berlin has a 108-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

Coming to the Motorola “Berlin NA”, it also has a 108-megapixel main shooter, which is further joined with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth shooter. Like the Edge “Berlin”, it also has the same 32-megapixel front-facing camera sensor.
