The next generation Infiniti Q60 coupe is revealed by the auto brand along with the trimlines that will be available on launch. The company has revealed the pricing and specifications of each of the trim line.
The base model powered by a 2.0-liter petrol engine is priced at £33,990. The car is capable of delivering 208 horsepower and it uses a four-wheel drive system. The next in the lineup is the 3.0-liter V6 version. The model is much powerful in terms of horsepower and torque which leads to an increased price tag. While official pricing is yet to be announced, we assume that it will be priced higher than £40,000.
Infiniti is about to launch the Q60 coupe at the upcoming 2016 Paris Auto Show. The V6 version of the car is supposed to compete against the BMW 440i. Infiniti will face a lot of competition when it finally arrives in dealership stores. Industry insiders have confirmed that latest generation models of Lexus RC, Audi A5 and Mercedes Benz C-Class Coupe are about to get launched. All of them have a strong user base in the United Kingdom and only the best could top the race.
The front fascia of the Q60 coupe is strongly inspired by the Q50 saloon. The back is designed to be a windscreen with rising shoulders and a low roofline. All of them when combined together gives the coupe a strong, athletic look. An active grille shutter is used in the faster V6 version with LED headlights. The active shutter ensures that the model gets the best aerodynamics possible.
The flagship model of the Infiniti Q60 Coupe is powered by a 3.0-liter twin turbo V6 engine that can deliver a total of 475 Nm of torque. Both the petrol engine variants use seven speed automatic gearbox system and has an all-wheel drive by default. The car has 19-inch alloy wheels by default. Buyers can upgrade the rims to 20-inches if they like to.
The Sports variants of the Infiniti Q60 coupe has hi-tech suspension system for extra comfort and to ensure a smooth ride in bumpy roads. The interior of the car has an additional layer of insulation that reduces external noise. The car has a surround system from Bose comprising of 13 different speakers and the insulation helps achieve best results.
Infiniti’s latest generation infotainment system powers the center console which can be controlled using the touchscreen display.
