 Android N is officially out and has started to roll out to several Nexus devices. This means that users will soon be able to access the factory image directly from the company.

Beginning from Scratch

It may be a while before all the eligible Nexus devices receive the factory image for their phones, but as of now owners of the Pixel C, the Nexus 5X as well as the Nexus Player and WiFi Nexus 9 can download the new Nougat version build. Some devices, such as the LTE Nexus 9, the Nexus 6 and the 6P are missing for now, but they are sure to be added to the list soon. All other Nexus devices have been discontinued and owners of these phones will not be receiving the Nougat update.

The 6P, the 5X and the Nexus 6 come with Qualcomm processors and they will also go live in a very short time.
