The model numbers of the upcoming Oppo A16 smartphone namely Oppo CPH2271 and Oppo CPH2273 have bagged certification from the GCF website.
The GCF listing does not reveal much details but thanks to FCC and Geekbench for revealing key specifications of Oppo CPH2271. From the FCC listing, we got to know that the phone supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi for connectivity. The phone measures 163.78mm × 75.62mm (H×W) and 180.39mm diagonally.

Notably, the FCC specifications of Oppo CPH2271 match with that of Oppo CPH2269, which has been certified as Oppo A16 across multiple certification sites. This leads us to believe that CPH2273 would probably be another variant of the same phone. The fact that the phones have been certified together in the GCF listing affirms this.
The FCC listing also reveals the rear design which shows a rectangular camera setup on the back at the top-left side. There’s no fingerprint scanner on the back, so we may see either a side-mounted or an under-display fingerprint scanner in Oppo A16.
The Geekbench listing for Oppo CPH2271 reveals that the phone is powered by an octa-core processor with 4 cores running at 1.8GHz and the other 4 are clocked at 2.3GHz. It runs Android 11 OS with ColorOS skin at the top. Oppo CPH2269, its variant, was recently spotted on Geekbench running MediaTek Helio G35 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM.
