As per the Geekbench listing, C21Y will be powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. However, there could be more RAM variants. The smartphone boots Android 11 out of the box.

Realme’s first Android Go Phone

Recent reports have revealed that Realme C21Y will be the company’s first phone to run Android Go Edition. When tested on Geekbench, the RMX3261 managed to score a fairly decent 349 points in the single-core test and 1,263 points in the single-core test. We have also spotted a similar listing with model number RMX3262 in Geekbench, which suggests that it could be a variant of the C21Y.

Leaked Specifications

Ahead of the launch, the Realme C21Y has been spotted on a Vietnamese retailer website with full specifications. As per the listing, the phone has a square camera module on the rear side which includes a 13MP main sensor and two 2MP secondary cameras likely to work as macro and depth shooter. On the front, it has a waterdrop notch to house the 5MP selfie shooter.

The smartphone could be powered by a 1.8GHz Unisoc Spreadtrum T610 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. There’s also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for additional storage up to 256GB. It could bring a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 420nits of peak brightness. The C21Y may pack a 5,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging. Other notable specs include Bluetooth v5.0, OTG support, Wi-Fi, a MicroUSB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Notably, all the specs of Realme C21Y match with that of C21 except the processor and memory configuration. The design also matches C21Y. Based on this, we can say that C21Y is a toned-down version of Realme C21, and will be offered at a more cheaper price than C21. In the recent past, Realme C21Y has bagged approval from FCC, NBTC, EEC, TKDN, IMEI, Sertifikasi, and Indonesia Telecom. This means we are pretty close to the launch of the phone.
