Samsung Galaxy A03s (SM-A037F) with MediaTek Helio G35 Chipset and 4GB RAM Visits Geekbench

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A03s smartphone has appeared in Geekbench benchmarking website today.

As is the case with any Geekbench listing, it confirms the processor that will power the phone along with the other details like RAM and OS. Samsung Galaxy A03s with model number SM-A037F will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G35 chipset which is denoted by MT6765V/WB. This octa-core processor clocks at a speed of 2.3GHz.

The phone will ship with Android 11 OS and will have 4GB RAM. The phone has scored 163 and 847 points and single and multi-core scores respectively. The same model number recently got Bluetooth SIG certification which confirmed that it will support Bluetooth v5.0 for connectivity.

First Samsung Phone with Helio G35 Chipset

Samsung Galaxy A03s will be the first smartphone from Samsung to come with this processor. Helio G35 is a gaming chipset from MediaTek. The chipset includes MediaTek HyperEngine technology and is mainly used to power gaming smartphones. It offers smoother and faster gaming performance apart from excellent graphics and improved power efficiency.

Leaked renders of Samsung Galaxy A03s have confirmed that the phone will have a rectangular camera placement for rear cameras. There will be three sensors (13MP + 2MP + 2MP) and an LED flash. The display will be of 6.5-inches and there will be a V-shaped notch at the center of the display.

A fingerprint sensor will be placed on the side along with the power button of the smartphone. It will have a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, a microphone and a speaker grille at the bottom part of the phone. The design is pretty similar to that of Galaxy A02s except for the presence of a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and USB-C port.
