Two budget smartphones namely Samsung Galaxy M22 4G and Galaxy A12s have been spotted on an Indonesian certification website.
The smartphones with model numbers SM-M225FV and SM-A127F have appeared on the TKDN certification website. The certificates indicate that they are the 4G variants of the phone.
Galaxy M22 4G
Samsung Galaxy M22 4G smartphone has already bagged certifications such as NBTC (Thailand) and Bluetooth SIG as well. These two certifications confirmed the moniker of the phone. Apart from this, the phone has also appeared in FCC and in the Geekbench database.
It will be powered by MediaTek Helio G80 SoC that clocks at 1.8GHz. The variant that appeared on Geekbench had 4GB RAM and we can expect one more variant alongside this. The phone will have a 25W charging capability which is a highlight feature. It’s a dual SIM phone with support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0 and NFC.

Samsung Galaxy M22 4G is expected to be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A22 smartphone. The rumor mill suggests that the specs of the phone will match that of the Galaxy A22. However, as is the case with M-series phones, Galaxy M22 is expected to have a bigger battery of 6000 mAh when compared to A22’s 5000 mAh battery.
Galaxy A12s
Samsung Galaxy A12s is another upcoming smartphone with model number SM-A127F. This has already bagged certification from Bluetooth SIG and is an improvement of the Galaxy A12 smartphone. This is also confirmed by the model number’s appearance in the Google Play-supported devices list with the moniker Galaxy A12s. This phone hasn’t bagged any other certification so far.
Apart from these smartphones, Samsung is also gearing up to launch Galaxy A03s which has bagged certifications from Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance as well as Geekbench.
