Samsung Galaxy S22 series (SM-S901, SM-S906, SM-S908) model numbers have appeared in the database of the DEMKO certification platform. The listings have revealed the charging capabilities of the S22 lineup.
The S21 series from last year offered 25W fast charging. The newly spotted certifications show that the S22 series will offer up to 45W fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Charging Capabilities
The SM-S901E, SM-S901E/DS, and SM-S9010 model numbers are rumored to be associated with the Samsung Galaxy S22 flagship phone. The listing shows that the device may carry support for 25W fast charging.
The SM-S906E, SM-S906E/DS, and SM-S9060 model numbers are said to belong to the Galaxy S22 Plus. The DEMKO certification reveals that it may carry support for 45W fast charging.
The SM-908E, SM-S908E/DS, and SM-S9080 model numbers seemingly belong to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The DEMKO certification shows that it may also support 45W rapid charging. While the S22+ and S22 Ultra have been spotted with a 45W charger, it is unclear whether a faster 45W charger will be included in its retail package.
Recent reports have revealed that the Galaxy S22 will have a 3,700mAh battery, the S22+ will house a 4,500mAh battery, and the S22 Ultra will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. Past reports have revealed that the Galaxy S22 trio will be equipped with 6.1-inch, 6.6-inch, and 6.8-inch AMOLED displays. The Ultra model supports Quad HD+ resolution, while the former two offer FHD+ resolution. Depending on the region, the S22 lineup will be available with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 SoC.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is scheduled to go official on February 9 through an online global launch event. Some reports have claimed that the company’s Galaxy Tab S8 lineup will be also unveiled at the same event.
