Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy A50, Galaxy S9, and Galaxy S9+ are receiving new security patch update.
The new software update brings May 2021 security patch for Galaxy Tab A7, Verizon Galaxy S9, and S9+, while the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy A50 on Sprint network are receiving the latest June 2021 security update.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7
Galaxy Tab A7 is Samsung’s one of the most popular tablets of 2021. The device starts receiving a new software update which brings May 2021 security patch. It is currently rolling out in various European countries with firmware version T505XXU3BUF2. The new security patch fixes 3 critical CVEs, 24 high CVEs, and 17 moderate Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE’s).
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G
Galaxy Z Flip 5G is one of the first phones that received June 2021 security update, but it was only limited to Europe at that time. Now, the June update has reached the United States. More specifically, it is rolling out to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G on Sprint’s network which carries firmware version SM-F707U. The update can be identified by firmware version F707USQS2CUE1.
Samsung Galaxy A50
The software rollout speed of Samsung has been very impressive in recent years. While most of the OEM’s have just started rolling out the June 2021 security update, Samsung has already released the latest security patch for over 70 Galaxy devices. Now, it is reaching Sprint’s Galaxy A50 in the US. The new update is bound with the firmware version A505USQUCDUE4.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+
Verizon-bound Galaxy S9 and S9+ are receiving system update number 32 which mainly brings the May 2021 security patch for system protection against different kinds of exploits. The update also brings several performance improvements and enhancements to Quick Share.
