Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 powered by Snapdragon 888 Plus is tipped to launch in August 2021.
Qualcomm recently announced Snapdragon 888 Plus for the top-end flagship phones with a high clock speed. Among the various smartphone brands, Xiaomi will be the one to use this new chipset. Chinese tipster on micro-blogging site Weibo claims that Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will be equipped with Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. The phone is expected to launch sometime around August 2021.

Past reports have revealed that Mi Mix 4 will feature an under-display front-facing camera. Xiaomi is reportedly using China’s Optoelectronics under-screen solution for the Mi MIX 4, but the resolution is only limited to 1080p. However, recent reports have revealed that the customized panel will offer a better resolution than a regular 1080p panel.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is said to have the codename “odin”. The phone may offer 70W fast wireless charging support and 120W fast wired charging support. It may have a 4,500mAh battery. So, Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is going to be a top-end model from the company. A recent leak revealed that the phone may cost more than Mi 11 Ultra, which was announced earlier this year with flagship-grade specifications.

Xiaomi is yet to confirm the existence of Mi Mix 4. However, Weibo bloggers suggest that the phone may launch in August this year. Xiaomi is also believed to launch MIUI 13 in the coming months which means that Mi MIX 4 could bring the latest MIUI 13 skin. We’ll get to more about the phone once the company starts teasing the device or through any leak.
