Battlefield 6

Large-scale destruction and several cinematic moments should be in store for fans!

As DICE has begun to launch the first official teasers and trailers for Battlefield 6, the excitement around Battlefield 6 continues to grow further. Owing to the playtesting program, the multiplayer aspect of the title has received a lot of attention. Right now, what is getting discussed the most is the massive campaign plans the studio has for the soon-to-be-launched title. Recently, a campaign reveal trailer for the game was launched, which also confirmed the fact that a multiplayer reveal has been scheduled for July 31.

Battlefield 6 campaign’s reveal trailer mostly featured cinematics. That being said, it gives one the opportunity to get an idea about the in-game experiences and themes one will get to explore.

One gets the impression that the game is trying to bring back the character-driven stories popularized by some of the titles released in the past. If a lot of destruction-based content is shown in the game, it should work smoothly in both multiplayer and campaign.

A while back, DICE had made some big claims about the part destruction mechanics that will have in Battlefield 6. The campaign reveal trailer, in a lot of ways, offers a glimpse of what one could expect when the game finally comes out.

Battlefield 6 trailer shows the kind of destruction that is an intrinsic part of the major conflict one will get to witness in the game. By now, it is known that Battlefield 6 will revolve around a major global war involving NATO and a group referred to as Pax Armata. While playing the game, players will witness cities like New York being attacked. Over the last few years, in-game destruction has been one of the standout features in the Battlefield games.

Battlefield 2042, launched in 2021, made an instant impression with its outstanding gameplay and high-end features. However, some aspects of the game, including the way it approached destruction, violence and chaos, came under a lot of criticism. Battlefield 2042, unlike some of the other games released as a part of the franchise in the past, did not feature high-scale destruction and explosives.

In the Battlefield 6 campaign reveal trailer, one saw helicopters getting smashed into buildings and bridges collapsing like a pack of cards. This, of course, does not give us a direct idea about the kind of destruction one will get to see in Battlefield 6 multiplayer’s final build. However, there is a good possibility of large-scale destruction being prioritized in the upcoming title.

Battlefield 2042 did have some shortcomings and DICE made a note of them. The studio has often spoken about how some of the titles released in the past, such as Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4, have worked as the developmental blueprint for new games. These games have had some solid destruction mechanics that played a key role in making them memorable. One expects Battlefield 6 to take things ahead as far as action, scale, destruction and violence are concerned.
