Players have been asked to send videos and reports that could help the developers resolve the issue.

Something interesting is happening with Battlefield 6. Battlefield devs are asking players to help them fix a unique time-to-death bug. Developer stumbled upon this issue during the Battlefield 6 open beta. During this time, players had the opportunity to try their hands at this much-awaited game that will be launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 10, 2025.

Battlefield 6 beta’s first week spanned from August 7 to August 10 and proved to be quite a major success. Through this test, the Siege of Cairo, Iberian Offensive and Liberation Peak maps became accessible to players. The five game modes, too, became accessible.

The beta succeeded in its mission to please the community. Battlefield 6, however, went through some pertinent issues. Along with seeing a large number of cheaters, one also witnessed an issue with anti-cheat software which compelled PC players to get Valorant uninstalled. During the testing period of Battlefield 6, another issue cropped up which the developers are now working towards resolving.

On X, Florian Le Bihan, lead game designer, requested players to send videos from the Battlefield 6 open beta wherein the time-to-death issue was reported. Going by the responses generated by the tweet, one can assume that it has been noticed. Many players have come up with reports and videos that could prove to be of some help.

In one of the responses, one can see two types of situations coming to the fore. In one situation, one can see the player being knocked out but there is no sign of them being hit. In the other situation, one sees the player suffering from damage a few seconds after encountering the hit. Time to death, mostly referred to by its acronym TTD, is the time a player takes to die after going through a hit.

Apart from requesting players to provide reports of the fast to death problem, Florian Le Bihan asked them to put forward videos in which they were hit by “super bullets”. Players can also expect to come across a list of other problems that were reported on the Electronic Arts forum during the Battlefield 6 open beta.
