Not everybody is pleased with the return of the Carry Forward feature.
If you have been a fan of the cosmetics featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, here is some good news for you. There is a good possibility of you getting to see and try out those cosmetics again in Black Ops 7.
A new age rating provided by the ESRB has given one some hint about the ‘Carry Forward’ feature making a comeback. This feature was attracted a lot of controversy back in the day.
This particular feature should give players the opportunity to get the cosmetics in Black Ops 6 transferred to Black Ops 7.

Since Black Ops games are releasing one after another, some did expect Activision to incorporate this feature. As stated earlier, this feature was a hot topic of discussion back then. Now, a lot of players are not too happy with the return of this feature.
Shortly before Modern Warfare 3 was launched, Activision made an announcement about incorporating a new Carry Forward feature, which would give players the opportunity to get some of their favorite cosmetic items, such as operator skins and weapon blueprints, from Modern Warfare 2 and incorporate them in the game. Many expected the Carry Forward feature to be incorporated in 2024’s Black Ops 6, but that did not happen. What this also means is that all the bundles that were bought were linked to Modern Warfare 3.
The ESRB just launched its official age rating designed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The next game in the series will have the ‘M’ rating, which translates to ‘Mature’. The description, which came with the rating, gave gamers some idea about what they should expect from Black Ops 7. As per the description, fans should expect some shockingly repellent hallucinations along with the comeback of executions.

Fans also observed how a certain portion of the description talks about how players will be able to inhale marijuana from a structure that comes equipped with a rifle. The ESRB rating, in a way, serves as a confirmation of Activision, enabling players to get the cosmetics carry forwarded to Black Ops 7.
The comeback of the Carry Forward feature has elicited mixed responses from fans of the franchise. Many are of the opinion that the “unrealistic” skins in Black Ops 6 are too “outlandish” and will not complement the overall look of Black Ops 7.
