Fans had last seen in the Modern Warfare reboot which came out in the year 2019! Treyarch, the developer behind Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, could be bringing back Specialist Scorestreaks in the game.

This unverified information comes from freshly data-mined game files. Fans would be aware that this particular system was seen most prominently in Call of Duty’s Modern Warfare series. After the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded, a bunch of leaks have come to the fore. These leaks give one some idea about the kind of updates Treyarch has planned for its newest shooter and its free-to-play counterpart Call of Duty: Warzone.

For its mid-season refresh, the much-awaited Season 2 Reloaded update has introduced a plethora of fresh content in the game. The free update has marked the arrival of two new maps in the form of Grind and Bullet which players can check out.

While Grind is a remastered version of the popular map which made an appearance for the first time in Black Ops 2 as a part of its paid revolution DLC. Bullet, on the other hand, is a newly designed map that has already left an indelible impact on the gaming community and now, has its own 24/7 playlist.

The update has also brought in a bunch of new weapons, cosmetics and several other exciting items. Owing to several new files being added in the game, a lot of details on the upcoming seasons of the game has been leaked.

As per HeyImAlaix, a prominent Call of Duty leaker, Treyarch Studios has plans to bring back Specialist Scorestreaks to Black Ops 6.

A while after the Season 2 Reloaded update was rolled out, the leaker stumbled upon the fact that Specialist Scorestreaks has been included in the game’s files but is not actively a part of the game.

Through a new X post Alaix put up a description from a file that read, “Perkstreaks – Earn perks for kill streaking instead of scorestreaks”.

While Specialist could be identified differently in Black Ops 6, it operated in a similar manner in 2019’s Modern Warfare reboot. This particular feature was not a part of the two installments that followed later but now, there is a possibility of it arriving in some season of Black Ops 6 that could be rolled out in the future.
