Those who were upset with a new Zombies map not being added in Season 4 have a reason to be happy now.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has finally given fans some idea about the new Zombies map that is scheduled to release with the new season. At the moment, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fans are happy with all that Season 4 has to offer. This particular season stood out for several interesting crossovers. Several other events, like the inclusion of Grief mode in Zombies, too, were quite impactful.

When Black Ops 6 was launched towards the end of last year, fans noticed something important. Round-based zombies saw a comeback after being seen last time in Black Ops Cold War in the year 2020. At the time of release, Black Ops 6 brought two new Zombie maps to the fore. These two maps were the Cliffside prison map, titled Terminus and the Liberty Falls map, which covered the town. The former brought back memories of the popular Black Ops 2 map titled Mob of the Dead.

In the next few seasons, Treyarch brought in three new maps in the Zombies suite of Black Ops 6. Citadelle des Morts happens to be a map that is set in a French castle. The Tomb is designed to introduce players to a dig site tunnel system. Shattered Veil, another new addition, has players passing through zombies in a mysterious mansion.

A section of fans was disappointed with no new Zombies map being added to Season 4. Those fans would now be happy to see a new Zombies map being added as a part of Season 5. Treyarch took to X to share a nine-second teaser clip offering a glimpse of the new Zombies map in Season 5. This teaser was shared with the caption, “It all comes down to this”. This caption indicated that this was the final Zombies map in Black Ops 6.

Once you go through the clip, you will acknowledge the fact that it is unlike any teaser you have seen in the recent past. The clip features a ‘90s VHS effect and the camera movements are extremely erratic.

The footage in the clip seems to be from the research facility of Janus Project. One can see the logo of the organization on the floor. When you move your eyes to the upper right side, you can see ‘Janus Security’ written there.

Fans would be well aware of the fact that Project Janus has been designed as one of the primary elements in the Zombies narrative of Black Ops 6. In Season 5, fans finally had the chance to break through this facility. The footage, which was shared by Treyarch in the aforementioned tweet, reminds one of Emergence, one of the standout campaign missions one came across in Black Ops 6. The kind of facility players get the opportunity to check out in Emergence has been designed quite similarly to the Janus Project facility.
