The upcoming title, among other things, will introduce fans to two traditional round-based maps.

At the moment, a large section of the gaming community is looking forward to the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. While a game like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has a large fan base, one cannot deny the fact that the game left fans disappointed on some accounts. At the time of getting launched, the game did not have any original maps. The campaign, too, was not as elaborate as fans would have liked it to be.

From whatever one has heard about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies till now, the game is all set to live up to the kind of expectations fans have from it. The game is poised to offer as many as 16 original maps upon its launch. Along with that, it will be unveiling a full-fledged campaign that will have a direct link with Black Ops 1, 2, and Cold War. Fans, of course, are eagerly looking forward to the comeback of the round-based Zombies.

In the recent past, one has seen the Call of Duty games experimenting with a lot of interesting things. While some of these experiments have landed well, some did not have the desired impact. Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak and Modern Warfare 3’s open-world Zombies modes could be best described as creative experiments that did not break any new ground.

A lot of expectation is riding on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies. On the day of its launch, fans can look forward to the two traditional round-based maps, Terminus and Liberty Falls, getting launched. However, what is truly interesting is the fact that Treyarch has a hidden weapon designed to fight through any kind of potential storm that could arrive post the release of the title.

The first set of announcement trailers for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 were rolled out in the month of June earlier this year. Since then, fans have been steadily been informed about the Zombies mode in the game. Terminus became the first map to have a breakdown that was a little extended in nature. In the month of August, fans were shows glimpses of its gameplay and intro cinematic.

Terminus, which shows a prison situated on a floating island in the center of the Philippine Sea, has a structure that is very similar to maps like Shi No Numa, Zetsubou No Shima, and Mob of the Dead. Fans, who have been with the franchise for a very long time, are keenly looking forward to all the secrets they will get to unveil once the title is launched.

Liberty Falls, however, has not been able to build a strong fan base for itself as yet. At the Call of Duty: NEXT event organized in the month of August, fans were shown a footage of Liberty Falls. The footage did not manage to impress fans greatly with many finding the general map layout and the art direction to be underwhelming.
