The trailer of Black Ops 7 has already given fans a hint of the kind of world they should look forward to.
Very soon, the world will witness Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 being unveiled. A lot of expectations are riding on the title and everybody hopes for it to deliver. There is also some concern surrounding the game. A section of fans is worried that the experience offered by Black Ops 7 could be very similar to the kind some of its predecessors offered.
There has been a lot of discussion about the semi-futuristic setting one will, presumably, get to explore in Black Ops 7. This particular setting should pave the way for several interesting gameplay opportunities that would be vastly different from the ones one came across in Black Ops 6, which was set in the ‘90s.

The team at Activision is taking several other steps to ensure the game appears fresh and novel. A while back, it was confirmed that several hallucination sequences will be a part of Black Ops 7. The co-operative gameplay should attract a large number of gamers towards Black Ops 7.
For a long time, one came across rumors suggesting that Black Ops 7 is being designed as a narrative sequel to Black Ops 2, which came out in 2012. All these rumors started circulating much before a formal announcement about the game came through. Now that we know that the game is set a decade after the story featured in Black Ops 2, one can derive some assumptions about the mechanics and characters that will feature in the game.
Black Ops 7’s ESRB rating described the premise of the game as a fight that is put up against a huge tech-based company that has world domination plans. The rating also states that one will see enemies arriving in the form of robots, soldiers and monsters. Players shall have the option of dealing with these threats on their own or seeking the help of a friend through the cooperative campaign mode.
As a sub-franchise, Black Ops has always been known for incorporating psychological themes. Black Ops 6 even had a mission that revolved around hallucinations. In the Emergence mission in Black Ops 6, players had to find their way through a complex that was occupied by monster mini-bosses and hallucinatory zombies. This was, undoubtedly, one of the most innovative campaign missions one had come across in Call of Duty.

The first trailer of Black Ops 7 has already made fans believe that hallucinatory and psychological sequences will be an integral part of the narrative of the game. Some of the cooperative campaigns of Call of Duty, rolled out in the recent past, have not been that great. So, players expect these hallucinatory missions to deliver.
The campaign of Black Ops 7 is expected to have several monsters. Non-host players, therefore, could have the opportunity to assume control of several enemy combatants and launch an attack on their friends. This would be very similar to the Turned game mode in Black Ops 2 Zombies.
