The entire communing is waiting with bated breath for the arrival of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. In the last few months, one has come across a plethora of unverified information pertaining to the much-awaited title. Now, a new leak sheds light on the number of 6v6 multiplayer maps that one will get to see after the launch of the game.
When an official announcement about Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was made at the Xbox Games Showcase in the month of June, a sections of fans was surprised to see the title being announced shortly after Black Ops 6. Activision has had a reputation for sticking to an alternating release schedule for Call of Duty games.

The new leak comes from TheGhostOfHope who has made quite a name for himself as a Call of Duty leaker. Through an X post, the leaker stated that one can expect to see 16 6v6 maps in Black Ops 7’s multiplayer when it gets launched. One would remember that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 had 12 6v6 maps at launch. The new title, therefore, goes a few steps higher. The leaker has also claimed that one would get to see two Skirmish maps on day one.
Everything the leaker has said through this post should bring a smile on the faces of Call of Duty fans. As per TheGhostOfHope, 3 of these 16 maps happen to be Black Ops remasters.

The rest of the 13 fans are completely original. In the last few years, one has seen Call of Duty, as a franchise, being heavily dependent on map remasters. Players, however, still have the opportunity to explore some of the older titles in their original format.
