Those playing Call of Duty: Warzone will now have the opportunity to get into the Gulag with a single armor plate.
Call of Duty Warzone Season 4 fans should be ready to witness some major changes in the game. One of the major changes will lead to players getting inside the Gulag equipped with a single Armor Plate. Before Call of Duty Warzone Season 4 was launched, one witnessed all the players getting inside the Gulag and putting up a fight without armor. By bringing in this change, developer Raven Software has stated that it is making an effort to bring down “extreme time-to-kill cases”.
In Warzone Season 3, one witnessed the comeback of Verdansk. Fans are now looking forward to seeing what plans Raven Software has for Season 4. There has already been some disappointment in store for fans, what with the official patch notes confirming that Raven Software will be removing Battle Royale Solos from Call of Duty: Warzone. As per the developer, Battle Royale Casual Solos will replace the mode. While players are not too happy with this move, the studio is convinced about it as it feels it will result in playlist options being manageable.

Some developments happening with Call of Duty Warzone Season 4 should, however, make fans happy. As stated earlier, the studio has confirmed that players will now step into the Gulag with a single armor plate. Earlier, players would get inside but without armor. As per Raven, this was resulting in certain weapons killing faster than required. This happened, as the studio said, because of the shooter’s higher damage-per-shot values.
Based on the chatter on social media, fans seem to be in favor of this change. According to an X user, it is “probably the only W in the update.”
However, one must make a note of the fact that all the new additions and features in Season 4 have not managed to strike a chord with fans.

In the new season, fans will be introduced to a new Door Barricade field upgrade in Warzone that is expected to encourage campers. While many have raised concerns about it, some are of the belief that it will not lead to any major issues.
At the time of launch, the field upgrade will only be accessible in the new Clash limited-time mode. However, as the season moves ahead, it could become a part of other game modes.
