Apart from important updates, a bunch of expansions have been rolled out for the game at regular intervals. All this has played an important role in bolstering the popularity of the game and keeping it relevant.
Some of the recent updates launched for the game, including Gone Fission and Ghoul Within, have been received very well. The incorporation of some features, which were being requested for a long time, has also pleased the fans. While one cannot deny the presence of issues with the game, one has to acknowledge the fact that this is a game that has taken some giant strides with time.
The new July 22 update rolled out for Fallout is referred to as version 1.7.21.8. If we go by the information listed in the patch notes, the update appears quite big on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The file size of this update, depending on the platform, ranges from 15 to 22 GB.
One of the major reasons behind the file size being so big is that a lot of important alterations have been made to Fallout 76. Along with bug fixes, several adjustments have been made to combat, Ghoul abilities, C.A.M.P., fishing, outfits, weapons, the user interface and several other elements in the game. The update has resulted in an increase in the overall build limit of different flag variants, ranging from 3 to 25. A fix has also been provided for Daily Ops Alien enemies dumping tons of Alien Blaster Rounds that are unusable. A change has been made to the Snorkel Mask to ensure no damage occurs from airborne hazards. Once the fall Fallout 76 update arrives, fans can expect to see further changes in the game.
