Fortnite OG might soon be seen as a permanent mode in the battle royale title. When Fortnite OG was originally released, it had broken all previously held records for Epic Games. As the number of players increased swiftly, requests to make it a permanent fixture became more intense.
According to Fortnite insiders @ShiinaBR and @Hypex, fans might witness the return of Fortnite OG in December this year. This particular version of Fortnite is expected to have all the first 10 seasons of Fortnite that will unfold every month. Fans can also look forward to seeing the original loot, weapons and other gear from the earlier versions of Fortnite. Fans should also be delighted to know that both the standard Battle Royale game mode and Zero Build will extend their support to Fortnite OG.

Till now, Epic Games has not shared any confirmation about Fortnite OG making a proper comeback. Reports suggest that Epic Games could be making this announcement at The Game Awards 2024 which is scheduled to be organized on 12th December. Since a lot of big announcements by Epic Games in the past have happened at The Game Awards, there is a good possibility of this announcement, too, coming through at this particular event.
The comeback of Fortnite OG should work very well for the game as fans continue to discuss and be enamored by all that the original iteration offered. At the moment, there is no clarity on whether it will be brought back as a permanent addition to the game. However, if that happens, it will make a lot of fans happy.
