As the first half of December is drawing to a close, Samsung has started rolling out the December 2024 security updates for its smartphones.
While some handsets have already received the update, some others are likely to receive it soon.
Like always, Samsung users can opt for an automatic update or a manual update. The automatic update can be done through the Software update in the Settings app while the manual update can be carried out using a Windows PC and the Odin tool.
Galaxy S24 Lineup
Following the launch of the security update along with the One UI 7 beta update outside the home country, Samsung is now offering the same for the Galaxy S24 lineup in Korea.

The firmware is associated with the build number S92xNKSS5AXKA. It addresses only security-related fixes and does not offer any user experience improvements.
Galaxy S24 FE
The Galaxy S4 FE smartphones in the European market have started getting the security update for the month. This firmware is associated with the build number S721BXXS3AXK6.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6
The manufacturer initially rolled out the security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 handsets in Korea. Following this, the update is now available for the handsets in Europe. The manufacturer is likely to extend its offering to other countries as well.

The update addresses various high-risk and one critical Android OS-related security flaws. It also addresses a couple of vulnerabilities pertaining to selected Exynos modems and chips from the manufacturer. Additionally, this update finds a solution to eight vulnerabilities that are a risk to exclusively Galaxy tablets and smartphones.
It is anticipated that more Samsung smartphones and tablets will receive the December 2024 security update worldwide in the coming days.
