Samsung, during its recent Galaxy Unpacked event, confirmed that it will be launching its 4th device in the S25 series, namely the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Apart from confirming the existence of the phone, nothing more was mentioned about the Galaxy S25 Edge. It’s been slightly over a month since then and thankfully, rumors have started pouring in about the device. This helps us understand what its specs and features would be.

Galaxy S25 Edge Release Date and Price
A new piece of info that was shared by the Korean publication SEDaily has indicated that the phone would be released on April 16th and will be available for purchase from May. It also confirms that the device will be available in three color variants namely Blue, Silver and Black. Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be priced higher than the base variant S25.
Low Production Capacity
Interestingly, Samsung seems to be planning to produce limited units of S25 Edge. This could be due to the fact that it’s the first time the company is releasing an ‘Edge’ phone in the ‘S’ series and it feels that there may not be many takers of this phone. The total number of units planned is close to 40,000 if we were to believe the report published by the same Korean website.

Specs and Features
Galaxy S25 Edge will share the entire spec sheet of the Galaxy S25+ smartphone, except for its thickness and its camera sensors. The main difference will be two camera sensors at the rear in the S25 Edge when compared to three in the S25+. These two sensors will be 200MP and 12MP respectively. It’s also going to be thinner also hence lose out on a few grams in weight.
Samsung is looking to place the S25 Edge in between the S25 and S25+. At least, that’s what is obvious when we look at the specs and pricing. Let’s wait to see whether people are interested in this.
