Samsung teased the Galaxy S25 Edge at the recent MWC launch event when it launched the S25 series.
Interestingly, this ‘Edge’ smartphone was earlier referred to as the Galaxy S25 Slim. A new leak now mentions the thickness and weight of the handset along with a render. It also gives a hint about the price of the upcoming smartphone.

The smartphone will also weigh 162 g. If these details are correct, the smartphone will weigh almost as much as the base variant in the series but will be thinner, as the Galaxy S25 has a thickness of 7.2 mm. Moreover, although there is no explicit mention of the price, it is hinted that the cost will be on par with the Galaxy S25 Plus.
Expected Galaxy S25 Edge Specs
The leaked render reveals the front of the S25 Edge with very thin bezels on all sides. From earlier leaks, it is expected that the handset will have a display size of 6.65 inches, which is almost the same as that of the S25 Plus.
The smartphone will have only two cameras on the back and do away with a telephoto snapper. The primary shooter will feature a 200 MP resolution and the ultrawide shooter will have a resolution of 12 MP. There will be a 10 MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, the S25 Edge will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The RAM options will be 8 GB and 12 GB, while the storage options will be 256 GB and 512 GB.
In the battery department, the handset will be powered by a 3,900 mAh battery that supports 25 W wired charging. It will be available in three colors: silver, black, and light blue.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is slated to have an April 2025 launch, although there are talks that the smartphone will be available with retailers only in May. The initial production of the handset is anticipated to be only around 40,000 units.
