South Korean tech giant teased its Galaxy S25 Edge, earlier known as Galaxy S25 Slim, recently when it announced the S25 lineup.
This teaser only showcased the design of the Galaxy S25 Edge. While earlier reports hinted at some specs and mentioned that the smartphone would have a thickness of just 5.84 mm, a new leak now gives us an idea about its weight.

Going by a post on the popular X platform by tipster Ice Universe, the upcoming handset will be lighter than the base variant in the Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy S25. While the exact weight has not been mentioned, the leak suggests that we can expect the smartphone to weigh less than 162 g.
Other Rumored Specs
The S25 Edge will have an IP 68 rating for water and dust resistance. The handset will also be encased in an Armor aluminum frame. It will additionally be equipped with a USB 3.2 Type-C port and stereo speakers.

There will be support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity options. The smartphone will be powered by a 3,900 mAh battery with support for 25 W fast charging.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will have a two-camera setup on the back panel. These two snappers are a main camera with a resolution of 200 MP and an ultra-wide camera with a resolution of 50 MP. The front-facing camera for selfies and video calls will have a resolution of 12 MP.
The handset will come with a Dynamic AMOLED 2x 6.7-inch screen featuring a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.

The screen will comprise Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and encompass an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is reported to break cover towards the end of April 2025. The smartphone will be positioned between the S25+ and S25 Ultra and hence be pricier than the Plus variant.
