There are a few weeks to go before Samsung unveils its Galaxy S25 lineup comprising the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Several interesting details have been pouring in about the smartphones. A new leak has now surfaced mentioning the Galaxy S25 charging features.
Qi2 Charging Support
If the report by noteworthy and reliable tipster Ice Universe is anything to go by, the base variant Galaxy S25 will feature wireless charging with Qi2 support. Although there is no mention of the Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra, it is very likely that they will also support magnetic charging. The only flip side is that the wireless charging will be limited to 15 W.

Interestingly, although the manufacturer has not offered Qi2 charging support for any of its smartphones so far, its Galaxy Ring is compatible with this technology.
There are several accessories in the market with magnetic alignment to support Qi2 charging. Hence, you may be able to buy such accessories compatible with the Galaxy S25 series. It is worth keeping in mind that Qi2 supports magnetic alignment as an optional feature. Hence, you may not be able to use the compatible magnetic accessories if Samsung decides to do away with this alignment.
