There were reports in the past of Samsung planning to launch the entire S25 lineup including the Galaxy S25+ with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor in all markets.
However, a new Geekbench listing now makes us believe otherwise.
Geekbench Listing Details
The Geekbench listing reveals the Galaxy S25+ with just the model number SM-S936B and no moniker. The listing also points out that the smartphone scores 2358 points in the single-core test. The multi-core test has a score of 8211 points.

The handset will be powered by a ten-core Exynos processor with four clusters under its hood. The processor referred to is likely the manufacturer’s Exynos 2500 chipset. The smartphone will come with 12 GB RAM and run with Android 15 out of the box.
Exynos Processor Efficiency
Analyzing the results on the Geekbench database, the performance of the Exynos 2500 processor is lower than that of Qualcomm’s recent Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset by at least 20% to 40% in both single-core and multi-core tests.
However, there is scope for an enhancement of the scores when the manufacturer works on optimizing the software as well as the smartphone.
Other Expected Specifications
The S25+ will come with a Dynamic AMOLED 6.7-inch display featuring a resolution of 2K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Under the hood, at least some models will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Apart from the 12 GB option mentioned on the Geekbench database, there is likely to be an 8GB option as well. The storage options are slated to be 128 GB and 256 GB.
The handset is anticipated to draw its juice from a 4900 mAh battery with support for 45 W rapid charging, 10 W reverse charging, and wireless charging.
According to the latest news, Samsung is likely to release all the smartphones in the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025.
