The Galaxy S25 series has been in the news for some time now, especially because of the many controversies surrounding the processor used.

The latest report states that all three smartphones in the lineup will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and not the manufacturer’s Exynos 2500 as stated earlier. A new report now states that the Galaxy S25 will deliver a smooth gaming experience with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Game Frame Interpolation

Going by a post by tipster Jukanlosreve on the popular X platform, the series will run games with a refresh rate of 60 Hz at double the refresh rate of 120 Hz. This will be achieved through game frame interpolation that incorporates Adreno Frame Motion Engine 2.0 technology from Qualcomm. The Galaxy S25 will not be the first handset to make use of this feature. OnePlus has already introduced it in its flagship OnePlus 12.

The handset will also borrow the Game Super Resolution feature from Qualcomm Snapdragon. This will increase the actual resolution of the game to a higher rating without having a negative effect on the resources.

Game Assist Feature

The Galaxy S25 will be able to support the above improvements because of its Game Assist feature. When this feature is activated, it will result in an enhancement of the frame rate and resolution of the game without heating the smartphone.

The Game Assist feature is an AI feature that the manufacturer will offer through the OneUI 7 update. The manufacturer is reported to be working on a new Game mode powered by artificial intelligence. This mode will enhance the gaming capabilities of the smartphone to a great extent.

It is worth noting that this feature will be supported only by Galaxy S25 handsets with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip under the hood.
