The South Korean tech giant Samsung is gearing up its progress on the Galaxy S25 series including the Galaxy S25 Ultra as the top-end variant of the lineup.
Rumor mills have leaked various details about the specifications of smartphones.
A new post on the popular X platform by Jukanlosreve now reveals two actual photos of a handset that the tipster claims is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Design Details
The photos in the post highlight the front and back of the S25 Ultra. They indicate a changed form factor when compared to the earlier models. The rounded corners combined with the flat frame make it appear squarer than the Plus and base variants of the earlier S24 lineup.
The camera setup of the Galaxy S25 Ultra seems to be strikingly similar to that of its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with three cameras. However, the photos do not reveal the ridged look in the camera rings that the smartphone is reported to adopt from the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The handset will be enclosed in a titanium frame.
Color Options
The photos of the dummy units reveal two standard color options of Titanium Silver or Gray and Titanium Black for the handset.
Expected Galaxy S25 Ultra Specifications
The S25 Ultra is reported to house a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor from Qualcomm under its hood and supports 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage as the base variant. The smartphone will also have a large 6.9-inch display and be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45 W rapid charging.
The cameras on the back panel will include a 200 MP primary snapper with improved AI processing and a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor along with a couple of telephoto lenses featuring 10x optical zoom and 3x optical zoom.
It is worth keeping in mind that the photos and most specifications of the Galaxy S25 Ultra have not been officially confirmed by the manufacturer. Hence, it is best to consider the details with caution. The handset is slated to be launched in January 2025 along with other smartphones in the series.
