The Galaxy S6 Edge will be a part of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup along with the Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra.
The smartphone is expected to draw its juice from a battery bigger than the Galaxy S25 Edge, while being slimmer at the same time.
The S26 Edge for the US market has recently been spotted on the Geekbench platform with the model number SM-S947U. A post on the X platform by tipster Abhishek Yadav also shares this listing.

Geekbench Listing
The Geekbench listing reveals that the Galaxy S26 Edge scores 3393 points in the single-core test and 11515 points in the multi-core test.

The smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm. This will be accompanied by 12 GB of RAM.
It will run on Android 16, topped with the manufacturer’s One UI 8.0. The source code listing indicates that the handset will have a dedicated Adreno 840 GPU.
Other Expected Galaxy S26 Edge Specs
Earlier reports suggest that the Galaxy S26 Edge will house an OLED display. The screen will have a size of 6.7 inches.
Regarding storage, fans will be able to choose from one of two options. The smartphone will be available with 128 GB and 256 GB of storage.
For the cameras, the handset will have a primary snapper with a resolution of 200 MP and an ultra-wide snapper with a resolution of 50 MP.
The smartphone will be powered by a 4,200 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast charging and Qi2 Ready wireless charging.
The S26 Edge will house multiple connectivity options like a USB 3.2 Type C port, NFC, UWB, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and GPS. It will be equipped with stereo speakers and have an IP 68 protection rating for water and dust resistance.

The Galaxy S26 Edge is reported to take the place of the Plus variant and be positioned between the Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra.
Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy S26 lineup in January at its next Unpacked event, like it did with the Galaxy S25 series.
