Even as Samsung is yet to launch the flagship Galaxy S25 lineup, talks have started about the manufacturer’s Galaxy S26 series.
The latest discussion is centered on the processor that is likely to be incorporated into these smartphones.
According to a post on the popular X platform by noteworthy tipster Jukanlosreve, the Galaxy S26 lineup will incorporate an Exynos processor manufactured by Samsung. It is speculated that this will be the Exynos 2600 processor.

Details about the processor are sparse at the moment. From what is known, the chipset is associated with the “Thetis” codename internally. The processor is likely to be designed using the manufacturer’s 2nm process. According to an earlier report, the chip will offer an efficiency boost of 25%, an increase in performance by 12%, and a decrease in total area by 5%.
The post does not mention whether all the handsets in this series will be equipped with the manufacturer’s processor. The steep price hike of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset from Qualcomm is rumored to be a key reason why Samsung is prioritizing on the use of the Exynos 2600 chip for most of the Galaxy S26 series of smartphones.
Samsung is slated to get started with the mass production of this chipset in the coming year so that the Galaxy S26 flagship lineup can be equipped with them when they release in 2026.

It is speculated that Samsung would opt to use the Exynos 2600 processor for the Galaxy S26 series sold outside the United States in countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
In the United States, the lineup will house a Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. This is no surprise as the manufacturer has already adopted this strategy for the Galaxy S24 lineup in the past.
