Galaxy S26 Ultra Specs Leaked Months Ahead of Official Release

Samsung is slated to launch its Galaxy S26 lineup, comprising the Galaxy S26 Ultra along with the Galaxy S26 and S26 Edge, in January next year.

Even as there are months to go before the release, all major specs of the S26 Ultra have found their way into the news circle.

Expected Galaxy S26 Ultra Specs

The latest leak with details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra comes from a Weibo post by renowned tipster Ice Universe.

The smartphone Ultra will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 for Galaxy processor from Qualcomm with a 4.74 GHz clocking frequency. There will also be a dedicated 1300 MHz GPU. It will run on Android 16 topped with the brand’s One UI 8.5.

The handset will have a 6.9-inch display with support for Color on Encapsulation technology. It will also house an anti-reflective glass for minimum glare and enhanced outdoor visibility.

The S26 Ultra will have a 5,000 mAh battery. This battery will support 60 W fast charging.

The smartphone will have an HP2 main sensor with a resolution of 200 MP. There will also be an ultra-large aperture system along with an improved 5x zoom camera and a 3x zoom sensor. The 5x zoom camera will have a wide aperture for good low-light imaging.

The smartphone will sport a thickness of 7.x mm. However, it will be marginally lighter than its predecessor. It will come with support for Perplexity AI.

It must be kept in mind that Samsung has not confirmed any of the above details and with a long way to go for the launch, things could change and the specs may get revised. Hence, it is best to consider the above information about the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a pinch of salt.
