The Galaxy S26 Ultra will be a top-end smartphone in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup and has been in the news quite a few times recently.
A recent report stated that the handset will have a 200 MP primary camera. This has now been followed by a new report with the sensor details of this camera and its aperture.
Low Light Performance
According to a post on X by tipster UniverseIce and the comments that followed, the primary camera will be equipped with an ISOCELL HP2 sensor that has a noteworthy wide F1.4 aperture. If the details turn out to be true, the light captured by the camera will be 47% more than that of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
This choice of sensor and a wide aperture will help the user capture videos and photos with improved details and less noise in low and mixed lighting situations. The wide aperture will additionally deliver a depth of field that is shallower than before. This will result in less smearing than what occurred with the earlier models.

Moreover, when the shutter is open for a short period to capture more light, the possibility of motion blur issues in the shots being captured is decreased considerably.
Other Galaxy S26 Ultra Upgrades
The handset is expected to have a few other upgrades as well over the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
